The Advanced Certificate Program in International Relations is aimed at promoting foreign policy and diplomacy of Somaliland through education in the wider community. The field is relevant for professionals who are interested in international affairs-oriented education policy, global political economy, development discourses, strategic and security affairs and other related issues. Thus, admission to the Advanced Certificate Program will be open to a limited number of highly qualified students who have completed a bachelor’s degree or equivalent at an accredited higher education institution.

The minimum requirement for admission to the Advanced Certificate in International Relations program shall be a bachelor’s degree (BA) in any social sciences and humanities discipline with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 and a passing mark in an entrance examination prepared for that purpose. The Institute’s Academic Commission reserves the right to determine the number of admitted students based on the available facilities and resources.
